Playkit is the leading tech UGC agency running large-scale TikTok campaigns for some of the fastest-growing brands and apps, including Substack, Flo Health, and Cash App. We work with 150+ of the best creators in North America and have produced over 1B views in one year.

We're hiring best-in-class UGC Engineers to help grow our company. They sit at the intersection of manager, strategist and account executive, enabling our campaign to run smoothly and successfully. This role is for you if you're excited to explore the world of social media in a capacity beyond creator!

What You’ll Do

Take part in a 4-week paid part-time training program where you’ll learn how to build high-performing content strategies, read performance signals, and turn insights into better campaigns.
Design TikTok-native UGC concepts, hooks, and formats that can be tested, iterated, and scaled across multiple campaigns
Build repeatable UGC systems, turning what works into frameworks, templates, and playbooks for creators
Run high-volume content experiments (hooks, pacing, text styles, CTAs, formats) to identify patterns that drive performance
Manage and collaborate with a roster of 10 creators using UGCTrackr, providing clear direction, structured feedback, and performance-driven iteration
Spot emerging TikTok trends and formats early, adapting them into scalable concepts that feel organic, not forced
Analyze campaign performance daily and weekly, identify what’s working vs. what’s not, and adjust execution in real time using UGCTrackr
Coach creators to raise the bar on content quality, clarity, and retention while preserving creator-native authenticity
Manage client relationships end-to-end by running weekly calls, delivering performance updates, and ensuring startup founders and product-led teams feel confident in campaign direction
Document learnings and turn wins into repeatable systems the team can deploy across clients

Who You Are

Chronically online, you’re fluent in TikTok culture, trends, formats, and unspoken platform norms
A systems-minded thinker who naturally turns creative chaos into structure, frameworks, and repeatable processes
Comfortable posting your own TikTok content and analyzing performance in real time
A strong communicator who can write authentic, Gen-Z-friendly hooks, scripts, and creator guidance
Organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple creators, tests, and campaigns at once
Energized by fast-paced, startup-style environments
Proactive and a self starter. You look at failure as an opportunity to grow and improve
(Bonus) Experience in Tech-UGC, startups, creator management, social strategy, growth, or performance marketing

A clear growth path: You’ll start with a paid contract trial ($650/week, ~30 hours/week). For strong performers, this role is designed to convert into a full-time position with a $70K base salary plus performance-based incentives, with clear upside as you deliver results. Strong performers have a path to $100K+ as scope and impact grow.

Tools You’re Comfortable With

TikTok & Instagram: fluent in native posting, analytics, trends, formats, and creator workflows
UGCTrackr: monitoring campaign performance, creator output, and content-level insights
Notion: organizing creator rosters, campaign docs, briefs, feedback loops, and playbooks
Loom: async feedback, creator coaching, walkthroughs, and quick clarity over long messages
